Colombia vs Ivory Coast 19th June 5pm - Over 2.5 goals

Two of the world's great achievers clash in Brasilia where a win would put in any of the teams in a strong position to qualify. Both won their opening games and, for their first ever clash, both will consider this a game they need to win. Colombia coach Jose Pekerman caused a surprise when he didn not select Jackson Martinez for the Greece clash. However, in the wake of that result, the Porto attacker may once again have to settle for a place on the bench.Fredy Guarin may return from suspension, but a muscle injury will prevent striker Carlos Bacca from featuring.

Meanwhile Ivory Coast will be without striker Didier Ya Konan when the Elephants face Colombia in Brasilia on thursday. The Hanover forward, who helped inspire the comeback against Japan last week after coming off the bench, suffered a knee injury that will keep him out. However, Stuttgart defender Arthur Boka is available after returning to training despite limping off with a calf problem against Japan.

Unlike other African teams Ivory Coast comes all to attack any team they face and has scored at least 2 goals in their last 10 World Cup games. Colombia as well play an open game and no doubt will have a higher fan support than the Elephants. I expect them to get all maximum points from the fixture.

Verdict : Over 2.5 goals.
