Bosnia vs Iran 25th June 5pm

The Dragons have already been eliminated following defeats in their opening two games, and coach Safet
Susic could be tempted to give the non-starters in his squad a World Cup run. Vedad Ibisevic could come into attack alongside Edin Dzeko, having come on as a substitute in the previous two outings. Miralem Pjanic is expected to retain his place in the starting line-up, despite sitting out training on Monday.

Iran head into their final Group F match against Bosnia and Herzegovina needing victory to stand any chance of progressing to the last-16 of the World Cup. Team Melli kicked off their Brazil adventure with a barren draw against Nigeria, before suffering a last - gasp 1-0 defeat to Argentina last time out.
Those results have left Carlos Queiroz's side third in their group on one point, three behind the second placed Super Eagles, who take on leaders La Albiceleste in the other match kicking off at the same time on Wednesday. Asia's number one ranked team have to beat the World Cup debutants at Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova and hope that the South Americans see off the West Africans to qualify for the knockout stages. Queiroz is expected to employ an attacking line-up and formation to aid his team's chances of advancing in the tournament. Reza Ghoochannejhad started on his own up front in the opening two group encounters, but could be partnered by Alireza Jahan Bakhsh on this occasion. Bakhsh made a late appearance from the bench against the two-time world champions as Queiroz switched from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 in a desperate attempt to salvage a draw.

Bosnia will have nothing but pride to play for here and would want to at least win a match in their World Cup debut.  Iran despite the fact that they need to attack and win will be wary of their "precious" defence line. I expect the Persians to frustrate the Bosnians here as usual and mostly rely on counter attacks to have a chance at goal in a match seeming to end as a stalemate.

Verdict : First half DRAW
