2014 World Cup Quarter-finals

They were 32 teams then reduced to 16 now it's the 8 top teams ready to battle once more for a chance to be among the final four. So far all the winners of each of the group stages are still in the competition with the obvious favourites for the trophy still cruising on. With the Colombian number 10, James Rodriguez topping the scorers chart with 5 goals after scoring a brace in their Round of 16 game against Uruguay. The last eight teams of the 2014 FIFA World Cup are as follows:

(1) Brazil
(2) Colombia
(3) Netherlands
(4) France
(5) Costa Rica
(6) Germany
(7) Argentina
(8) Belgium
Two of the Round of 16 games ended via a penalty shoot out. It's been filled with so much drama and pressure but few goals unlike the  group stages.
The Quarterfinals commence on the 4th of July but before then enjoy some random pictures of the magical moments of the mundial in the Round of 16.
